Recreation Program Coordinator, Part Time
Assist the DLE with planning, coordinating and running allcommunity activities Assists with the planning of the monthly activities calendar andmonthly newsletter (if necessary)Encourages residents to participate in community activities,assisting them to attend, while supporting the resident'sindependenceHelp with ordering supplies and equipment for regular activitiesMay be required to attend outings off-site and help to keeptrack of residents ensuring a meaningful and safe trip forallCarry out other duties as assigned by the DLEHelp maintain the Activity Participation Tracking Chart, ifapplicableAssists in the success of the community Parallel ProgrammingscheduleWhen interacting with residents and/or family members, is mindfulof the Resident's Rights to PrivacyMay be required to safely drive the residents to and from theactivities when neededThe ability to work in a safe and alert mannerThe ability to take ownership for associate's safety and the safety ofthe residentsMust disclose any medication that might impair associate's abilityto perform the job safely or competently Recommended Skills Self Motivation Coordinating Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
