- Assist veterinarians in providing care for animals - Obtain medical history and other information for appointment - Complete blood draws and catheterizations - Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians - Prepare and maintain examination rooms and surgical areas - Perform laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis - Take and develop x-rays - Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments - Provide assistance during surgeries and other medical procedures - Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition Skills:
