Accounting Assistant ABOUT THE COMPANYOur client is the leader in their business worldwide, and has more than tripled in size in recent years! Long term client of ours who we have placed 1/3 of the Accounting Department. They are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join their team and work directly with the VP of Finance to assist with all financial transactions for their growing, fast-paced company. Responsibilities:
Reviewing list of open invoices and collecting payments Providing ongoing communication through email with customers Reviewing invoices in Microsoft Excel Proactively maintaining records and ongoing communication 3 way match on invoices with packing lists Obtaining approvals and entering into the system Comfortable processing 30-50 invoices per week Obtaining necessary documents and following through with tasks Answering customer calls Ad hoc projects as needed Preferred Skills:
Prior AP/AR experience preferred 3 Way Match experience a plus Bachelor's Degree a plus! The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
